چکیده
Non-thermal plasma (NTP) catalysis is a promising technology for CO2 valorization with renewable H2, in which catalyst design one of the key aspects to progress hybrid technology. Herein, bimetallic NiCo supported on CeO2 catalysts, that is, NiCo/CeO2, were developed less metal loading ∼2 wt % using mechanochemical synthesis NTP-catalytic methanation. During synthesis, different addition orders Ni and Co precursors investigated, results show NiCo1/CeO2-I (which was prepared by simultaneous precursors, protocol I) exhibited highest conversion (∼60%) CH4 selectivity/yield (∼80%/∼50%), whereas NiCo1/CeO2-II NiCo1/CeO2-III catalysts (prepared sequential protocols II III) showed very poor catalytic performance. Characterization suggested I, prefer alloy, concentrated oxygen vacancies surface high basicity are retained as well. Such properties responsible activation hydrogenation under NTP conditions, explained proposed mechanisms.

Combination of supported bimetallic rhodium–molybdenum catalyst and cerium oxide for hydrogenation of amide
Hydrogenation of cyclohexanecarboxamide to aminomethylcyclohexane was conducted with silica-supported bimetallic catalysts composed of noble metal and group 6-7 elements. The combination of rhodium and molybdenum with molar ratio of 1:1 showed the highest activity. The effect of addition of various metal oxides was investigated on the catalysis of Rh-MoO x /SiO2, and the addition of CeO2 much i...

Catalytic hydrogenation under mild conditions of olefins, unsaturated aldeydes and ketones, nitriles and nitroarenes was investigated, using a supported rhodium complex obtained by copolymerization of Rh(cod)(aaema) [cod: 1,5-cyclooctadiene, aaema-: deprotonated form of 2-(acetoacetoxy)ethyl methacrylate] with acrylamides. In particular, the hydrogenation reaction of halonitroarenes was carried...
متن کاملSynthesis and characterization of Pt3Co bimetallic nanoparticles supported on MWCNT as an electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation
The impregnation method was used to synthesize Pt and Pt3Co supported on MWCNTs applying NaBH4 as the reducing agent. The structure, morphology, and chemical composition of the electrocatalysts were characterized through SEM, XRD, and EDX. X-ray diffraction showed a good crystallinity of the supported Pt nanoparticles on the composites and showed the formation of Pt3<...
متن کاملCatalytic Ring Hydrogenation of Benzoic Acid with Supported Transition Metal Catalysts in scCO2
The ring hydrogenation of benzoic acid to cyclohexanecarboxylic acid over charcoal-supported transition metal catalysts in supercritical CO2 medium has been studied in the present work. The cyclohexanecarboxylic acid can be produced efficiently in supercritical CO2 at the low reaction temperature of 323 K. The presence of CO2 increases the reaction rate and several parameters have been discussed.
